To be honest, I’m not a big fan of low calorie versions of foods.
For example, if I’m going to buy shredded cheese for an omelet or tacos, I’m going to buy the full fat version.
The fat free cheese tastes like plastic bags (or so I’ve heard), and isn’t worth saving the few calories per serving.
However, I’ve recently come across an ice cream alternative that actually tastes good.
It’s called Halo Top.
And no, this is not a sponsored post but if work for the company, I’m sure we could work out a deal.
Anyways, the reason I’m hyped about this is simple.
Dieting isn’t easy.
You don’t have a lot of calories to play with, so it’s nice to find a treat that easily fits in your calories.
The oatmeal cookie Halo Top ice cream that I just had was only 280 calories for an entire pint.
Compare that to a Talenti gelato pint and you’re talking over 800-1,200 calories.
That is a huge difference.
On top of the benefit of being low calorie, it actually has the good stuff in it like an impressive amount of protein and fiber too.
Of course, as delicious as this treat is, you’ll need to make sure it fits within your total daily calorie goal in order for it to be a true diet hack.
And if you’re looking for a guide to help you set up your calorie goal and give you a free workout routine, then I’ve got you covered.

P.S. I still love a good pint of Talenti, but when I’m on 2,100 calories per day it’s just not reasonable to try and fit that in. That’s where Halo Top Shines.
