I have to be honest here: While I love email marketing and all it can do, I am really not passionate about teaching it. Since this is my site (with my name and face all over it), I’ve decided I should only share what I am truly passionate about.
And that passion is fitness.
More specifically, nutrition, barbell weight training, and personal development. I don’t say I’m a “food eater” just for laughs, but I truly mean that I love learning about how types of foods affect the body and applying what I learn to my diet.
Also, I’m not interested in just any weights. I specifically like working with heavy compound barbell movements that require a lot of mental focus and a full body effort. Machines don’t quite cut it for me.
Finally, I’ve always been very interested in personal development and how to apply it to my life. It’s vitally important for reaching goals in the gym, relationships, work and business, and in your day to day operations as well.
A Tough Decision To Make
One part that made the switch difficult was monetizing my efforts. I got involved in online business and built this site (the first time) because I knew exactly how to earn money by selling marketing training and tools.
Honestly, it’s fairly easy to earn money talking about earning money, especially when you have other people backing you up. The problem there was that my excitement went away fairly quickly and when I had to put in the work, it felt boring and senseless.
It’s weird. Even while having (some) success with these types of businesses, I really couldn’t stand behind it. Plus, it was boring to talk about and semi-difficult to explain to someone. Fitness is the complete opposite deal.
It’s Time To Share The Wealth
I’ve been able to achieve some incredible results and reach goals upon goals when it comes to lifting weights and dieting in a very short period of time. Practically everything I know I learned on YouTube by people like Matt Ogus, Andrea Valdez, Chris Lavado, And Steve Kleva.
Not only did I lose 30 pounds within my first 8 months into fitness, I’ve added considerable amounts of muscle, strength and definition. As of September 17th, 2013 I will have been lifting weights for just 1 full year.
My plan is to use this site, Twitter, and YouTube as channels to share what I know and what you can do to apply these principles and techniques into your life to become stronger, leaner, and wiser in the most efficient way possible.
