If I had to launch a digital product and start getting customers before the end of the year as a busy dad of 3, here’s the exact process I would follow:
✔️ Think about my skills, hobbies, interests
✔️ Focus on a problem I’ve solved for myself
✔️ Validate my idea by finding existing products on the topic
✔️ Use Google Docs to write a 16-50 page ebook solving that problem
✔️ Export as PDF, create an cover in Canva, enhance with MyEcoverMaker
✔️ Create a free Kit account, create product page, upload ebook, price at 5 bucks to start (increase later)
✔️ Set up Threads profile with good picture, bio, add ebook link, and create a pinned post sharing a transformational story, proof of results, or a novel approach to the problem my product solves
✔️ Start scheduling 3-10 posts per day sharing insights, proof, and personal interests (good to be human to stand out in this world of AI)
✔️ On relevant posts, especially ones that get some traction, reply to my own post with a quick line and link to learn more about my ebook
✔️ Comment on 5-10 posts per day (ideally way more) both in my niche and posts I find interesting with a goal of helping or adding to the conversation
✔️ Show up every day with the intention to serve my ideal customer and build my own tribe
This is almost exactly what I’m doing already
The only main difference is I focused on using Threads to build my free email list instead of selling a product up front which is also a very viable approach.
Also, you don’t have to use Threads specifically because you can make this same process work on any platform.
The reason I like it is it’s one of the easiest places to get attention, build an audience, and make sales right now if you don’t have a ton of free time.
That said…
