Fix These 3 Things To Make More Sales

Even though you can do nearly everything wrong and still make sales if you can get enough people in front of your product, there are some things you can do to make everything so much easier.

The average conversion rate of an info product is 1-2%, and there’s a reason I’m able to sell at 4-7% depending on the offer which is anything but luck.

There are 3 main things to fix, and if you focus on the first 2 first…

The 3rd one becomes even more powerful.

Let’s break this down:

1. Make sure your info product actually solves a specific problem

There’s a big difference between “how to play guitar” and “how to learn jazz guitar in 30 minutes a day without boring drills or exercises so you can play music people actually want to hear”

The first one is generic and boring, while the second one is specific, attracts a particular audience, sets expectations, and presents an outcome.

I’m not saying everything you sell has to be hyper specific like that, but it’s better to be closer to that than yet another generic product.

2. Set up systems that build trust and sell your product automatically

Sure, you can just put up a quick product image, a short description, and a buy button and make sales…

I sold my first handful of copies of The Info Product Lifestyle Blueprint by doing exactly that.

But it’s a whole lot smarter to create systems that include:

  • A full sales page talking about the problem you solve, features, and benefits of the product
  • An email marketing funnel to build a list of interested potential buyers
  • A one time offer page to reward new subscribers with special pricing and make sales faster
  • 1-3 automated emails to welcome people into your world and make offers
  • Content strategies that get attention and drive people to your funnel

Yes, it takes quite a bit more work this way…

But I figure do the work now so you can convert more customers sooner rather than later.

3. Ramp up the traffic

The best product and the best systems mean absolutely nothing if no one sees it, so the final key is to get your offer in front of as many people as possible.

All too often I see people asking why they didn’t make any sales and come to find out they only had 9 people click over to their sales page.

Nothing wrong with that because we all go through that stage…

But we do have to fix it.

And the solution is volume.

  • More content that helps your ideal customer
  • More networking with peers in your industry
  • More connecting with people who need your help
  • More promotions in the right places

Even if you’re able to fix everything we talked about so far and convert at 4%, that still means you need 25 people seeing your sales page every day to make an average of 1 sale per day.

If you’re starting from scratch, that will take time to build.

But here’s the cool part:

It’ll take the same amount of effort to sell 1 product a day as it does to sell 10 per day, because if you keep doing the same things long enough you’ll get more and more traffic with the same actions.

The only missing link is to start.

So if you want to get set up the right way and be on the path to turning what you know into income online, I highly and biased-ly recommend grabbing a copy of The Blueprint on the page below:
