How I Squeeze In 4-6 Hours Of Digital Product Business Learning Per Week

One of the best things you can do for online business is stay in a learning mindset, expand your knowledge, and apply what you learn.

One of the best ways to do this is a time of day where most people would rather be entertained.

Here’s what I mean:

4 days a week, I work my day job and in order to do so, I have to get there.

Even though I’ve told my wife “I gotta run to work” my preferred method is driving.

So when I get in the car with my lunch bag and 3rd cup of coffee, I flip on one of the several online biz trainings, courses, or playlists I have and just let it play for my 35 minute to 1 hour commute depending on how many people got pulled over for speeding in a congested area that day…

Across any given week, I’m squeezing in 4-6 hours of learning each day I go to work, and in some cases there’s a double benefit because I work in sales and a lot of what I listen to helps with that too.

Some weeks there’s even more time to squeeze in learning too, such as:

  • Picking up dinner when no one feels like cooking (often lately because post-partum wife and adjusting-to-new-job husband)
  • Building furniture locked in another room for my kids’ safety’s sake (fortunately not often, but not never because some of the original stuff we got when we moved into the house was “for now” stuff)
  • In the garage gym (I’m one of those crazy people who never wore headphones at the gym, but since I lift at home I can play whatever I want on speaker while I workout)
  • Early in the morning or late at night (once in a while, there’s a biz problem I’m trying to overcome so these are great times to learn and focus on fixing them)

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not some kind of robotic biz-minded freakshow that only learns and never does anything fun…

And most days, it’s just during the work commute and even then I split that time with Beckman’s Dog Training podcasts which have been super helpful.

But my point is this:

There’s a lot of time you can utilize to up your knowledge so you can apply it and increase your actual skill and income with your digital product business, especially if you also commute to work.

Now that I think about it…

It might not be a terrible idea to share everything I know in a podcast one day to help people on the go.

But it won’t be this year.

In any case, if you need help getting launched then grab yourself a copy of The Blueprint so you can learn everything you need to know about online biz for any niche in one sitting.
