How The Social Media Sales Funnel Actually Works

This may come as a surprise to some, but I have a sort of a love/hate relationship with social media marketing…

On one hand it’s literally free exposure for your business

But on the other hand…

The amount of time it takes to build an account from scratch, or rebuilding an account you already have, takes way longer than anyone would like.

But you kinda have to think about it this way:

If you could just show up to the party, aka social media, start pitching your business, and make a bunch of money, we’d all be rich right now.

It takes time to learn how to create content that attracts your ideal audience.

It takes time to create sales and marketing material that turns social media scrollers into leads and customers.

It takes time to build an audience and a reputation for what you do.

And in my opinion which is based on the several months of posting to no one in a previous niche to making multiple sales per week or even per day…

It’s completely worth it.

But before you go out there and just start posting, it’s important to know how the social media sales funnel actually works.

There are 2 main ways you can do it:

Views -> profile views -> link in bio -> sales page -> sale

Or:

Views -> profile views -> link in bio -> email landing page -> one-time offer -> confirmation email -> confirmation page offer -> welcome email offer -> ongoing emails

The second one sounds a whole lot more complicated, and it is, but once you set it up you only have to focus on getting views and sending emails.

Depending on the platform you post on, there might be other ways to get people to click a link, but all those would be on top of this classic yet still effective method.

If you want to learn how to set all of this up in a beginner-friendly way as well as multiple free ways to get customers, then head on over to the link below:
