My $100k Digital Product Business Plan (Copy Me)

I tend not to talk about my business income plans for 2 reasons:

  1. It’s never really a good idea to publicly count money
  2. My plans will likely look a lot different than your own

However, I’ve decided to use a platform that essentially does the first one for me, and the fundamentals behind my plan can apply to any online business.

Because of this, I figure it’s time to talk about it.

But before I do, I will state that 100% of my IPL members joined when the membership was free and I’ve stopped selling anywhere else, so we’re essentially starting from a clean revenue slate.

With that out of the way, here’s the plan:

365 members at $250 per year, plus a handful of 1-on-1 clients.

“Wait, isn’t the price only 99 bucks?”

Yes, so we have some work to do, both in price increases and in audience growth.

As for the price increases, it’ll be pretty straightforward:

May 1st: $175 per year.

July 1st: $250 per year.

1-on-1 coaching is currently closed, and the plan is to only open it once per quarter starting July 1st at $1,500 per client with a limit of 3 people per quarter to give each client maximum attention, support, and results.

How To Make These Numbers Happen

In order to make this many sales, my audience size and engagement must grow considerably.

I’m not just talking social media views and followers.

I mainly mean my email list audience, which is growing because of social media so it all works together.

Based on previous experience, if I want to make one sale a day I’d have to gain 15-30 email subscribers per day.

To gain 15-30 subscribers a day, I’ll have to get 75-150 clicks to my landing page per day.

And in order to do that, well…

That’s where the verifiable math ends…

I’ll be posting exclusively on X and Threads.

On these platforms, I’ve had 20 subscriber days with 350k post views per month, and I’ve had 4 subscriber months with 200k views.

More views is almost always better, but the right views matter more.

For example, a post about avoiding a common digital product mistake that gets 200 views is worth more than a black coffee rage bait post that gets 28k views because…

The former is designed to reach my ideal customer while the latter definitely does not.

So that’s part of what we’ll be figuring out as we go:

  1. Which content formats work for attracting ideal customers?
  2. Which promotions work for gaining new email subscribers?

And of course, I’ll be sharing what I learn so you can copy what works now.

The 3 Phase Plan Starts Today

The official plan won’t start until July 1st due to the pricing mismatch, so I’m breaking it down into 3 phases:

Phase 1 is grow, test, learn, and improve with content with my offer at $99 per year.

Phase 2 is more of the same, but doubling down on what works with my offer at $175 per year.

Phase 3 is where the $100k plan really starts with my offer at $250 per year and opening coaching.

As for how you can copy me, the base fundamentals are as follows:

  • Choose a content platform
  • Post daily and build an email list
  • Send emails and promote your offer

And keep showing up no matter what.
