Offending AI Lovers For Fun And Profit

A few days ago, I posted this moderately lukewarm, internet Boomer take on Threads:

“I’m not the first person to say this

And I hope I’m not the last…

But stop using AI to write comments

It’s not helping anyone anywhere”

To which a perturbed social media scroller replied:

“Bashing Ai is soooooooo boring. If it isn’t working that’s a you problem not an ai problem.”

And it got me thinking…

Are we headed towards a point on social media where people post AI comments on AI content and the AI creator replies with their own AI comment?

Just ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok “conversing” with each other across the internet?

Not too long ago, I came across a skit where a guy walks into a store to buy something and both him and the store clerk ask AI how to respond to everything each other said.

It got messy real quick:

I hope this stays as a skit and doesn’t become reality…

Because of this, I will continue to do my part and publish posts like the one I did above to poke fun at people who outsource their thinking to chat bots, even if I offend an AI lover or two.

This is part of why I recommend running a digital product business around a skill, interest, or hobby you’re passionate about…

Because if you know what you’re talking about, you won’t have a hard time coming up with something to say every day for social media posts, ebooks, courses, emails, articles, videos or anything else you want to create.

To be clear, I do think AI can be useful…

I don’t see a problem with using it for idea generation, organization, research, and other tasks like that as long as you don’t blindly accept every response you get as the ultimate truth.

But to create content and comments on social?

No way, no how.

In any case, if you want to learn how to launch a digital product business that can help you get paid in your spare time even if you don’t have a big audience, then go here:
