The 3 Digital Product Biz Goals I’m Working On In 2026

It’s wild to think that I woke up this morning and it’s a whole new year, even though technically this is the 37th time I’ve experienced the turn of a year.

I’m pretty sure it’s just because 2025 was such a blur for me, but some of the most notable events were:

  • Survived the 5th craziest tornado outbreak in my area in the last 70 years in April
  • Got a Boston Terrier puppy in May
  • Started this particular biz in July
  • Had our son (baby 3) in September
  • Started a new job a few weeks ago

And that’s not to mention all the normal daily stuff that comes with being a married dad of 3 with 2 dogs, 3 cats, staying in shape, and learning how to manage a house after a lifetime of apartments.

Life is just… busy.

But I regret nothing (not even a single letter).

I’m grateful for the ability to do what I do.

And as far as the business goes…

2026 is the year of focus.

Last year I tried about a dozen different things to get attention, build my email list, and make sales.

Dropped over a grand on paid ads.

Got over a quarter million views on short form videos.

Tried growing my YouTube channel and business with vlogs.

This year, there’s no need to test things anymore, because…

The business system is refined:

  • No more posting on Instagram
  • No more posting on YouTube
  • No more spending money on ads (at least for this year)
  • I’m not starting a podcast, running a side biz, or creating any new offers

I’m putting all my time and effort into the following funnel for the next 365 days:

Buffer -> X and Threads -> The IPL Blueprint -> Daily Emails -> The IPL Skool

I’m also posting my daily emails on my blog which lead to my ebook and shooting for 1 video a week on X and Threads.

Having said all of that…

My business goals are also refined:

  • 3 posts per day on X and Threads
  • 3M views per month on X and Threads (each)
  • 500 ebook sales

I posted over 1,400 times last year, so 3 posts a day (1,095/yr) will be easy, but…

Considering my best X month ever was 330k views, my best Threads month ever was 220k views, and my best year ever was 102 sales across 3 ebooks…

It might sound like a big jump, but I know I can do it.

It’s just going to take focused work and aiming to get better every day.

On that note, what’s your biz goal for 2026?

Happy New Year and let’s make it the best year yet!
