I’ve learned a lot of things about online biz from a lot of different people, and if I had to share the best advice I ever received, it would be this gem from Ben Settle:

“Build a list, mail it daily, and when they buy, sell them something else”

This obnoxiously simple model has led to hundreds of sales across all the niches I’ve been in.

It’s worked for me in the fitness space, the blogging space, the tech space, the email marketing space, and even helped me build a more engaged audience on one of the several YouTube channels I’ve run.

There have been a few times I’ve tried to do something else:

• Blogging straight to affiliate links
• Instagram straight to coaching offers
• X straight to a paid product

And either it didn’t work at all for me, or they were wildly inconsistent compared to just building an email list.

The cool part is it’s adaptable too.

Maybe you don’t enjoy writing as much as I do and don’t want to send emails every single day.

No problem, because I know several people who send weekly emails and still do really well.

And technically, you could just write a bunch of emails and set them up to go out automatically to every person who joins your list.

No matter which way you want to do it…
