Wake Up And Do THIS To Grow Your Digital Product Business

Starting and running a digital product business is pretty simple:

  • Create a product that solves a problem
  • Create a system that sells the product
  • Send people through the system

But it’s not easy.

Each one of these 3 things requires some level of skill development, an understanding of base marketing principles, and can take some time and effort before you see a result.

And when you’re already busy doing the regular life part of life…

The simpler you can make your business, the better.

So in my case, I wake up and do 3 things ASAP:

  1. Make a pot of Portside blend black coffee
  2. Publish my daily email and blog post (we are here)
  3. Schedule posts in Buffer for X and Threads

I got this saying from Ben Settle when he was giving freelance writers some advice:

“The first hour of the day belongs to you – not your clients or anyone else…”

And it just makes so much sense.

Get your key income producing activities done first thing, especially any creative tasks, so can think more clearly and you’re not mentally bogged down by everyday things.

When it comes to a digital product business, that’s…

Publishing content, running ads, and giving your audience the opportunity to buy.

The best way to do this is by creating a system to follow where you can just wake up and get stuff done.

This will minimize the “wondering what to do next” part and save brain power for production instead.

This is part of why I created The Blueprint.

Not only will it walk you through the 4 main types of digital products, pricing, and the process of creating systems that do the selling for you…

But it’ll give you a simple plan to follow every day and can be easily adapted to any platform you want to grow a business on.
