Starting a digital product business is easier than it’s ever been.
Back when I first started, which was in an industry that shall-not-be-named so my emails actually reach inboxes (hint: you get 2 and they get 2), I had to deal with so many tech headaches just to put up an ugly website.
And once that ugly website was up, managing it, creating content, and promotion were one step away from requiring a computer science degree to get anything done.
Okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration because we’re talking about 2009, not 1999…
However, contrast that to today…
You can take an idea, click a few buttons, fill out a few forms, and bam:
You’re in business.
And with tools and services like Kit, Stan Store, Skool, and even Gumroad…
You can create a ‘more-than-good-enough’ page to start getting customers without knowing a lick of code.
Even though getting your business online is easier than ever…
That doesn’t mean business itself is easy.
Far from it.
Not a day goes by where I don’t see someone posting about how they’re not making sales.
Then I go ahead and check out their site, and there’s usually 1 of 2 issues:
- They’re using a link list with 17 different options, which only overwhelms or even confuses potential customers so they leave and don’t buy anything, or…
- Their page is missing some key fundamentals of offering products online, which would only take a little bit of time and effort to fix if they had the right information
I do what I can to help these people when I see these issues, but…
This also inspired me to create what I call The Foundations Course.
This straightforward course will help you get the fundamentals down, such as:
- The most important thing to do before you launch to make sure you’re maximizing your time and effort spent growing your business (even if you already launched, it’s worth reviewing this) – Module 2
- 4 main ways to get potential customers to your page and the process to follow even if you have no audience (Just one of these methods got me over 2,671 visitors to my product pages) – Module 7
- How to actually collect payments and deliver products in the most automated way possible, which even a complete beginner could set up in their spare time (it’s so easy to set up these days, I unintentionally have 3 systems doing this for me…) – Module 4
…and a whole lot more but not too much more, so you don’t have 69 different modules to go through and get overwhelmed or confused, because we already know what happens when, well… that happens.
I designed it to give you the frameworks and principles to work with which you can apply to any business around any topic.
While this course is only for members of my Info Product Lifestyle community…
Here’s my recommended next step:
Scroll down to the box below this post to join my daily email list.
When you sign up I’ll give you my 3 Step Launch Plan which goes over the base fundamentals to get started right.
From there, I’ll invite you to join my community where you can get the course.
That way you can at least get some of the key info before committing to being a member.
Let’s build your digital product biz the right way.
