If you have a skill, interest, or hobby and can free up 1-2 hours a day, you can build a second income using content and digital products.

This is what I did to get paid helping people get in shape.

And I did it all in my spare time.

No matter the topic, the process is the same.

Here’s how this second income works:

The first thing is to pick a market to serve.

In the case of what we’re doing here, you can think of a market as a group of people buying products to solve a problem.

For example, let’s say you’ve been playing golf for years and got pretty good.

Maybe you don’t have the best drive in the world, but your accuracy is good and you stopped hitting the water and trees every other shot.

Lots of people will pay good money to play a better game, even if it’s just for bragging rights.

The next thing is pick a social media platform to post on.

The more physical your skill, interest, or hobby is, the more visual you’ll want to go.

In the case of the golf example, something like Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube would be your best bet, and the idea here is to share insights you’ve gained and talk about problems your market deals with.

The more demonstration you can do, the better.

This will help you get attention and start building an audience.

The last thing to do is create a digital product.

You can create an ebook, course, membership, or coaching program designed to solve that problem you’ve decided to solve.

There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to picking the right product, matching it with your market, actually creating it, and setting it up so people can pay you money for it.
