Years back, I watched this video by Sean McCabe who was running a highly successful business teaching people hand lettering.
I had no idea that was even a thing, but it turns out it’s an in-demand skill…
Anyway, the video was him sharing some advice on building a business online and the biggest key was:
Show up every day for 2 years.
He practiced hand lettering every single day and when he started talking about his experience building that business, he definitely showed up every day too.
This took him from virtually unknown to speaking on stage for Kit (the email marketing platform I use to send these daily emails) in a relatively short amount of time.
Unfortunately, he took down the video (or I would share it) along with his entire business as I knew it…
But that doesn’t take away from the power of that message.
If you adopt it to building your own business…
You’ll simply stand out from everyone who starts something then quits a few weeks later.
Because think about it…
Maybe you don’t get the results you want after a few weeks.
Maybe you don’t build a big business in a few months.
But after 2 years of showing up every day?
You’ll be impossible to ignore.
And maybe you don’t even believe me after saying all of this…
Let’s use my business as a case study:
We’re at 29 Skool members as of publishing this and I have a calendar reminder on my phone for July 8th, 2027 so we can see how much I’ve grown by then.
No matter how big my business gets, that shouldn’t stop you from starting your own and showing up every day.
