Quaestuary Online Biz Coaches

I’ve been known to scroll the timeline here and there and this morning was quite the experience.

Came across yet another coach charging obscene amounts of cash to the beginner market.

There’s this archaic word quaestuary which means:

“money-making; money-seeking; in business only for profit”

…and that fit the situation perfectly.

While I have no problem with selling higher priced products, I think it has to be positioned for the right audience.

Here’s what I mean:

For example, a $25k mastermind for business owners doing $30-50k per month makes sense.

$3k per month to help moms start an coaching business… does not.

A $5k fitness coaching package for CEOs and high achievers makes sense.

$2k per month to help your average dad get in shape… does not.

Mass market offers require mass market pricing.

Specific market offers thrive on specific market pricing.

Know your market in order to win

I’ve talked with a business owner doing really well selling $20 offers and I’ve talked with a business owner doing really well with a $6k offer.

Both have their market dialed in.

The point isn’t to fleece people for the maximum amount of cash possible…

The point is to help people at a price your market can actually afford and have a high probability of return on investment with.

If you need help figuring out your market, which type of product to create, how to price it without coming off as quaestuary, and how to put together a system that does the selling for you…
